Who we are
This website is operated by AL-ROWWAD Constructions (ARC Group), a swimming-pool and water-feature contractor based in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. ARC is responsible for the personal data collected through this website.
This policy covers this website, its contact and quotation forms, and the messages you send us through the links on it. If you sign a contract with us, the contract may contain further terms about your data.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical data every website receives.
- Contact form
- Your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of enquiry and your message.
- Quote form
- Your name, phone number, email address (optional), city or compound (optional), any notes, and the pool you configure: pool type, dimensions, depth, finish, extras, region and payment preference.
- Messages to us
- If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and whatever you send, including any photos or plans.
- Technical data
- Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, for security and to keep the site running.
Please do not send ID numbers, bank or card details, or other sensitive information through the forms. We never ask for them online.
How and why we use it
We use your details only for the purposes below, each with a lawful basis:
- Answering your enquiry
- To reply to your message and arrange a call, visit or consultation. Basis: your request and consent.
- Preparing your quotation
- To calculate, review and send the estimate you asked for, and to follow up about that project. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Delivering your project
- If you become a client, to plan, build and maintain your project. Basis: our contract with you.
- Keeping the site safe
- To block spam and abuse of the forms, for example by limiting repeated submissions from the same IP address. Basis: our legitimate interest in a secure service.
- Legal duties
- To meet tax, accounting and other obligations, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your details, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you separately agree to receive them. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Egypt. Where this happens we use reputable providers that protect data with industry-standard security, and we make such transfers only as permitted by Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and quotations for as long as needed to handle your request and any project that follows, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. After that they are deleted.
If you become a client, we keep contract, invoice and warranty records for as long as the law requires. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period under its own policy.
How we protect it
The website and the quotation system are served over encrypted HTTPS connections. The quotation system is password-protected and limited to authorised staff, and the forms are protected against automated spam.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will act promptly and notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
Third-party services
Some pages load content from other companies. When they do, your browser connects to that company directly, and it receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy:
- Google Fonts
- The typefaces used on every page are loaded from Google's servers.
- Google Maps
- The map on our Contact page is provided by Google.
- YouTube and Vimeo
- Client video stories on the Testimonials page, when shown, play from these services.
- WhatsApp and social media
- Our WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok links open those services. Anything you send there is also handled under their policies.
Your rights
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and other applicable law, you have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data deleted when we no longer need it;
- withdraw your consent, or object to or restrict how we use your data;
- be told if your data is affected by a security breach;
- complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
To use any of these rights, email info@arcgroup-eg.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. There is no charge, and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
This website is intended for adults planning a project. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page always shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
